If you are looking for a fiberglass shooting house or a puppy you will find an ad in the classified hunting section. If you are looking for anything else you are out of luck. All the fiberglass shooting house ads fill up the entire section. Hardly worth even checking for anything else.
Very bad reports from this Dove field. Very few doves in the first season and no doves on opening day of the second split. Fields were not plowed, planted or cut for the second season and therefore nothing to attact doves to these fields. Mostly tall grass in all the fields. Could not find anyone to complain to but no one is doing anything in these fields after labor day. Poor area for dove hunting.
I bet the game warden would like to know his name.
Senate shoots down primitive weapon change, for now

A bill that would allow private land deer hunters to use their choice of weapons during Mississippis primitive weapons season was shot down Wednesday (Feb. 27) by a close vote in the Senate.
I have hunted all around Hattiesburg and Poplarville. In order to have any success you will need to join a hunting club. There are several hunting club sites on facebook. Clubs looking for members will advertise. It is getting to be about as popular to hunt hogs as to hunt anything else.
