I had Tracy James back onboard the Blue Wave Boats. This time, he brought Chas, Chad, and kyler. Kyler hadn’t done much saltwater fishing, but he got to experience one of the most insane bites you can witness. Fish flying in from all directions and sharks thrashing all around! Finally getting back to catching up on posts. I have been VERY busy the last few weeks fishing. The fishing has been AWESOME when Mother Nature let’s the winds lay down. I had this father/daughter trio onboard. We started out a little slow, but it didn’t take us long to strike silver! Once everyone figured out the bite, it was on! I had Mike, his son Colton, and buddies Jason, & Patrick onboard. We started out with a slow bite, but the trout were absolute HAMMERS! We made a couple adjustments and got on a couple good runs before the bite shut off. We spent the rest of the morning shuffling around looking for a good place to stop. Our last stop, we found some fish, in deeper water, and finished out our day. Jason and Patrick had never got to experience what our coastal waters have to offer down here. I had the Tardiff’s onboard for their special anniversary trip. It started out slow, with dirty water, but we patiently waited for the tide to do its thing. The Sikes family came down, from Missouri, to experience a little taste of “Sportsman’s Paradise”. The guys got a good night rest at the REEL INN Dularge and woke up ready for some action. We decided to leave a little later and chase bull reds first thing. The bull reds didn’t disappoint, as we were quickly hooked up! They were truly amazed at the power of our big bull reds! We played with the trout the rest of the trip and they did not disappoint either! All the trout caught on holey joley matrix shad with a death grip 1/4 oz jig. 3 generations of Sikes were in complete awe of our fishery down here in South Louisiana! Fishing is hot down in South Louisiana. Home Bank had a big group down, at the Reel Inn Dularge, looking to have a great time catching fish. We headed out to the trout grounds and weren’t disappointed as we caught a lot of nice fish right out of the gate. We searched around while we went through the mid morning lull, then hit them again later in the day. Great times down in Dularge, LA catching speckled trout.
