What is ForestHER? ForestHER is a hands-on workshop for women to help them learn about forests and forest resource management in a relaxed, fun setting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to read maps, measure and market their timber and non-timber forest products including wildlife.
Where? Riverwood Farms, 7851 County Road 35, Bremen, AL 35033
When? This two-day event will be held from 8:30 am - 7:30 pm Monday, September 19, 2016 and 8:30 am â 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
Who can attend? Anyone who loves nature and learning about the natural world! You donât have to own a lot of land to attend. If you own even one acre this workshop is for you!
Does it cost anything to participate? The cost is $65.00/per person. Each participant will get a workbook to take home with them. Breaks, lunch, and dinner are provided on day one. Breaks and lunch are provided on the second day. Seating is limited, pre-registration is required.

Take I-65 N to Cane Creek Rd. Take exit 282 from I-65 N (23.5 mi), Take Arkadelphia Rd to Co Rd 35 in Cullman County (9 miles). Follow the signs to the event parking.

Get on I-65 S from US-278 W (2.2 mi), Follow I-65 S to County Hwy 5 in Blount County. Take exit 289 from I-65 S (18.0 mi) Continue on County Hwy 5. Drive to Co Rd 35 in Cullman County (6.1 mi). Follow the signs to event parking.
