I had the Tardiff’s onboard for their special anniversary trip. It started out slow, with dirty water, but we patiently waited for the tide to do its thing. Once the tide picked up, and the water cleaned up, we got on a steady run and made a nice box. Matrix shad double rigged got the job done.…

Hello, I will be starting to fish the Bay St. Louis area by boat for the first time. My initial concern is if there are any danger areas in the bay that I need to be aware of. (Shallow spots, submerged objects, etc)

hello i am new to the area. i just recently moved from south louisiana. I moved to hattiesburg ms. i am having withdrawls and want to get in some saltwater and go catch some fish. Can someone point me in the right direction?
There are several piers to fish from along the coast and it's pretty good this time of year. You'll catch a few specks, reds, drum, ground mullet and white trout.

If you have a boat, Cat Island and Horn Island are usually good spots to start.

Caught a few before the weather got way too bad!

Inshore fishing for Redfish is great right now and the key to success is the Ole Popping Cork. I've been using this method since knee high to a grasshopper and it still fools them every time. There are many different corks out there to choose from and when i was young we made them out of dead…

Great Day with the wife jigging the grass lines catching trout reds flounder and bass on Matrix Shad from www.Matrixshad.com Check out this episode World Series Trout starting to show up for game six.

Hi, I am coming to Biloxi soon and would like to know what kind of tackle to bring, fishing from shore for just about anything. what would be the best fish to target in the next three weeks? I have everything from ultralites to heavy Muskie rods. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
You'd be best to fish for white trout, Ground mullet, and speckle trout. Might get a few Reds and sheep head also. Shouldn't need anything other than a medium action rod with 12 to 14 lb test. Good Luck.
