There is an open tournament every Thursday night on the Jourdan River. It launches at the Diamondhead Yacht Club. Tournament hours are 5-830pm. $20 dollar entry fee per boat with optional $5 big bass fee per boat.

Carter caught both of these Bass while fishing with his dad at a family pond in Lizana, Ms. He was so excited after catching the first that he hurried back to drop another line. As soon as the bait hit the water the second bass was on the line! Happy was an understatement :)

Brad Threet won the Attala bass club June 7th. tournament at Lake Ferguson with 15.28 lbs. William Jones 2nd. 15.19 lbs. Chris Cain 3rd. 13.84 lbs. and had the largest with a 4.21 pounder.

Will, 9 years old, and his daddy were at Land O Lakes on May 23, 2014. They were pre-fishing for a yearly Memorial Day Tournament, when Will caught this 8+ lb largemouth bass. Great Start To Will's 2014 Bass Fishing!!

Has anyone done any good on bass at the oxbow lakes? Been a few times the last couple of days with no luck. Usually can get some hits at the minimum if not load the boat. Only see gar hittng with other game fish at a stand still for some reason.
