I am new to the Columbus area and will hopefully be able to get some turkey hunting in. I was wondering if anyone has hunted Dwayne Hayes in the past. Is it crowded during turkey season? Are there a lot of birds in the area? It is either that or driving 45 minutes to hunt the airfield in Shuqualak. I have been out to both areas and have not seen much turkey sign (Did find some nice sheds though). Any info on both of these areas would be greatly appreciated.
